Last Thursday evening I attended the Emerald Couture launch in NYC fashion parade held in The Hole, a chic large gallery space on Bowery Street, where my dear friend Emerald Fitzgerald did her magic in the Big Apple bringing together amazing designers with artists in a stunning collaboration.
Like the launch in Sydney last year the Emerald Couture show was bound to be filled with stunning colourful yet quirky eclectic pieces and the launch in New York City didn't disappoint. This round up of designers and artists included my dear friend Phoenix Keating, Magdalena Ryczko, Lisa Thom, Cynthia Anglea, Justin Trendall and more! It was fantastic to see Emerald in the states, I hadn't seen her for a solid half year now and to see her in her element. The collection itself was quite spectacular: seeing as New York fashion tends to be slightly more tailored and monochromatic, to have Emerald Couture showcase a bright, colour filled show was a very exciting and truely a breathe of fresh air. Loved the show!
